Here are answers to what we anticipate will be commonly asked questions. We will continue supplement this page as additional broadly applicable questions are asked.

Will there be a cost to attend?

Yes. There will be $10 registration fee to attend the Conference at the Marriott Marquis. If this is cost prohibitive for you to attend, the fee will be waived. There is no cost to attend at the Broadcast Locations.

What do I do if i registered, my plans changed and I now cannot attend?

If you registered to attend at the Marriott Marquis and then your plans changed and you will not be attending, please go to the Registration page, find your registration (search by your name), and un-register. This will open your seat up for someone else to attend in NYC. OR you can simply let someone you know who wants to come know that your seat has become available and she can substitute herself in on your registration on the website. We want to assure that every seat is filled.

what is the age to attend?

All women in the USNE Area age 18 or over are invited to attend.

can i bring my children?

Breastfeeding babies in arms are welcome to come along with their nursing mothers. If you are most comfortable nursing in private, there is a nursing room available at the Marriott Marquis. If you are comfortable doing so, you are welcome to breastfeed while in the Conference. We ask that children older than babies in arms not join their mothers at the Conference as the space will be tightly packed and we want to assure a meaningful and non-distracted experience to all women in attendance.

Come as you are! The Conference will be held in the Marriott Marquis and typical dress is professional attire, but what is most important is that you come! You can similarly come as you are to the Broadcast Locations.

what to wear?

Box lunches will be provided as part of the Conference at the Marriott Marquis. In order to accommodate as many women as possible in the space, we will be eating our box lunches on our laps. Details on the lunch to follow.

The Conference venue in NYC will accommodate up to 2,000 women and we hope that every seat is filled. If you try to register and registration has closed, please check back often - as women un-register (maybe their plans changed), those seats will become available on the registration page. If there are no seats available at the Marriott Marquis, look at the Broadcast Locations tab for other locations where you can attend.

If I drive to the conference, where can i park?

There is valet parking at the hotel, but there are other less expensive options available in the area. Go to spothero.com or parkwhiz.com to reserve a parking spot at a nearby parking lot.

All of the events of the NYC Conference will be broadcast to the Broadcast Locations, including the keynote speakers, the musical numbers and the morning and afternoon plenary panels. Which of these offerings will be utilized at each Broadcast Location may vary. The breakout sessions will not be broadcast, but, at the option of local leadership, these may be presented by local women at the broadcast locations.

What will the conference be like at broadcast locations?

Oh Sister! This is going to be an epic gathering of thousands of USNE Area women in NYC and at Broadcast Locations simultaneously together about how to improve our lives, and writing personal commitments of faith in how to better follow Jesus and spread our influence for good. The better question might be why in the world would I not attend? This is an event not to be missed!
